The Organisation for Middle Eastern Dance in Australia, Inc.
OMEDA is a not-for-profit networking, information and resource group for professional dancers, musicians, students and anyone else with an interest in the music and dance of the Middle East. We are based in Victoria.
We aim to promote Middle Eastern Dance and to be a focal point for information, providing members with a forum to exchange ideas, discuss issues of interest, and to support each other.
We provide a quarterly newsletter, "The Shimmy".
